Chapel at Björklunden Lawrence University, Bailey's Harbor, Wi -
12th-century Norwegian Stavkirke style stave church. Handcrafted by
Winifred and Donald Boynton between 1939 and 1947. Winifred thoughtfully
painted all the frescoes inside, making sure not to include any
brimstone or fire, she wanted it to be a place full of hope & peace 
The family did all the wood carving in the winter season.

We took a tractor ride over to Cana Island to see the lighthouse in Baileys Harbor. It was built in 1869 and was first lit in 1870.
It is still used as an active navigational aid under the
jurisdiction of the US Coast Guard.
